Peggy Flanagan faced backlash “on social media after a clip surfaced of her advocating for transgender rights, saying parents must ‘believe’ their children when they ‘tell us who they are.’" "Because let’s be clear,” said Flanagan – a Democrat, “this is life-affirming & life-saving health care. When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen & to believe them. That's what it means to be a good parent." [But the LORD God of Israel, Moses, Jesus Christ His Son, the heavens & Earth & His Kingdom in Heaven on Earth in Jesus’s name command ALL people everywhere – including parents & their children – to LISTEN TO HIM AS THEIR FATHER, & HIS WISDOM as their Mother, & HIS SON as their Lord, God, & Savior in the flesh & life & FOLLOW HIM & THE TRUTH IN THEIR BODY AS HIS FATHER THE LORD GOD CREATED THEM FROM THEIR FATHER’S SEED & FORMED THEM IN THEIR MOTHER’S WOMB WHO DELIVERED THEM. I t is “our job” as “grown-ups” & parents of our children to listen to God & correct our children in His Son. ] B eing a “good parent” is to speak & teach the truth to your children & what God said or says & love them in Christ & “fear God” & “love Him” as He loves you & your children, & “serve Him” as He serves you & your children & gives you light & life & truth, & do this “with all your heart, & with all your mind, & with all your soul, & all your strength” & ”keep His commandments” & lead your children to Jesus Christ & His Father. For the LORD God said, “Let Us [Who are Truth, Wisdom, & Life] make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.” “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” (Gen 1:26, 27 NKJV) And the LORD God said to His people, “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment. For all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God.” (Deut 22:5) God also said, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” (Lev 18:22) The LORD God said to His people, “Do not defile yourselves with any of these [immoral] things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, & the land vomits out its inhabitants. You shall therefore keep My statutes & My judgments, & shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you. For all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, & thus the land is defiled, lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you. For whoever commits any of these abominations, the persons who commit them shall be cut off from among their people. Therefore you shall keep My ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these ABOMINABLE CUSTOMS which were committed before you, & that you DO NOT DEFILE YOURSELVES by them: I AM the LORD your God.’” (Lev 18:24-30) And it is written that the “immoral” & those “who suppress the truth” & the “depraved mind” & “lusts of the flesh” & “homosexuals, sodomites, & fornicators & adulterers” cannot inherit or enter the Kingdom of God; & Jesus said He is against “sexual immorality.” (1 Co 6:9, Romans 1:18-32, Rev 2:14-20, Rev 21:7-8, Rev 21:27) And Jesus also said, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male & female?’ For this reason a man shall leave his father & mother & be joined to his wife, & the two shall become one flesh’?” (Matt 19:4-5) And Jesus’s apostle John saw & said about the holy City of God in His Kingdom, “There shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” (Rev 21:27) Moses said to God’s people, “Now this is the commandment, & these are the statutes & judgments which the LORD your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land [or His Kingdom now on Earth] which you are crossing over [from death to life] to possess, that you may fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes & His commandments which I command you, you & your son & your grandson, all the days of your life, & that your days may be prolonged. Therefore hear, O Israel, & be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, & that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you - ‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’” [Which is now known as God’s Kingdom in Heaven on Earth.] “Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, & with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, & shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, & when you rise up.” (Deut 6:1-7 NKJV) And God’s Wisdom said, “ TRAIN UP A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO , & when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Prov 22:6) Moses also said to God’s people, “Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, & you turn aside & serve other gods [or your children instead of God & His Wisdom & Son] & worship them, lest the LORD’s anger be aroused against you” & “you perish quickly from the good land [or the Kingdom of God in Heaven on Earth in Jesus’s name] which the LORD is giving you. Therefore you shall lay up these words of Mine in your heart & in your soul, & bind them as a sign on your hand, & they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. YOU SHALL TEACH THEM TO YOUR CHILDREN , speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, & when you rise up.” (Deut 11:16-19) Jesus also said, “Let the little children come to Me, & do not forbid them. For of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.” (Matt 19:14) “Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, & teaches men [or children] so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven,” & cannot enter. (Matt 5:19a,20) “Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, & he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Matt 18:5-6) “I AM the Way, the Truth, & the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6) “Come, follow Me.” (Matt 4:19) “Seek first the Kingdom of God & His righteousness.” (Matt 6:33) And “If you love Me, keep My commandments,” said Jesus. (John 14:15) The Holy Spirit of God said through Jesus’s apostle Paul, “ CHILDREN, OBEY YOUR PARENTS IN ALL THINGS , for this is well pleasing to the Lord.” (Col 3:20) “ CHILDREN, OBEY YOUR PARENTS IN THE LORD, FOR THIS IS RIGHT . ‘Honor your father & mother,’ which is the first commandment with promise: ‘that it may be well with you & you may live long on the earth.’” (Eph 6:1-3) For the LORD God said to children, “Honor your father & your mother.” (Ex 20:12) And the Holy Spirit commanded fathers to “ BRING THEM UP IN THE TRAINING & ADMONITION OF THE LORD .” (Eph 6:4b) And it is written in the Bible, “My son, hear the instruction of your father, & do not forsake the law of your mother; for they will be a graceful ornament on your head, & chains about your neck.” (Prov 1:8-9) [It is not up to a child or children to decide their gender or sexual preference or preferences. God already decided & designed that for them. For God created them either “male or female” according to their body as He formed them in their mother’s womb from their father’s seed, & He is not confused about their gender or sexuality, for He also joins one male & one female together in holy matrimony & one flesh & life. It is up to “good parents” to listen to God & His Wisdom & Son & teach their children the truth about Him & His will & design for them in the flesh & way of life found in His Son & the Bible & AFFIRM GOD’S TRUTH in their hearts & minds. Good parents will also get godly counsel, if needed.] God “desired that the generations to come would continue to uphold all His commands. When one generation fails to instill God’s laws in the next, a society quickly declines.” Isaiah said to God’s people, “For the day of the LORD of hosts shall come upon everything proud & lofty, upon everything lifted up” & “it shall be brought low.” (Isaiah 2:12) The LORD of hosts said to His people, “I will give children to be their princes, & babes shall rule over them. The people will be oppressed, every one by another & every one by his neighbor; the child will be insolent toward the elder, & the base toward the honorable.” (Isaiah 3:4-5) “As for My people, children are their oppressor, & women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, & destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12) “Parents have NOT ONLY A RESPONSIBILITY TO THEIR CHILDREN , but AN ASSIGNMENT FROM GOD TO IMPART HIS VALUES [& W ord ] & [ the ] TRUTH INTO THEIR LIVES .” God “also disciplines His children (Proverbs 3:11; Hebrews 12:5) & expects earthly parents to do the same.” (Proverbs 23:13) And Jesus said, “As many as I love, I rebuke & chasten. Therefore be zealous & repent.” (Rev 3:19) The Bible says, “A father & mother “who loves” their children “disciplines” them “promptly” in the Lord. (Prov 24b) “Failure to discipline results in dishonor for both parent & child (Proverbs 10:1). Proverbs 15:32 says that the one who ignores discipline ‘despises himself.’ The Lord brought judgment upon Eli the priest because he allowed his sons to dishonor the LORD & ‘failed to restrain them’.” (1 Samuel 3:13). “The goal of good parenting is to produce wise children who know & honor God with their lives.” And Jesus said to His Father the LORD God, “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, & Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:3) “Proverbs 23:24 shows the end result of raising children according to God’s plan: ‘The father of godly children has cause for joy. WHAT A PLEASURE TO HAVE CHILDREN WHO ARE WISE ’. (NLT)” [So “let’s be clear” according to the Lord Jesus Christ & His Father the LORD God & His Wisdom what it means to be “a good parent.” It means to love & seek God as your Father & LORD, & His Wisdom as your Mother & Guide, & His Son as your Lord & Savior & WAY OF LIFE WITH HIS FATHER on behalf of your children & GUIDE THEM IN THE TRUTH FROM GOD & HIS SON ACCORDING TO HIS WORD & TRUTH IN THE BIBLE & LISTEN TO HIM & DO HIS FATHER’S WILL FOR YOUR CHILDREN & KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, ¬t your own.
