The actor who played Jesus in the film called The Chosen said on the Prayer & Meditation app, “Top 3 ways to draw closer to God:”

#1 – “Read your Bible” - “Really dive into God’s word and focus on what He’s speaking to you through the Scripture.” But the real Jesus said, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things [that we worry about getting] shall be added to you.” “FOLLOW ME.” “If anyone desires to come after Me, LET HIM DENY HIMSELF, AND TAKE UP HIS CROSS, AND FOLLOW ME. There are also many who are overwhelmed with life and responsibilities and don’t have time to read the Bible every day. This commandment by men is bondage.
