We heard on CBN that they and Pat Robertson will celebrate Rosh Hashanah tonight at Shaw Chapel in VA. I wondered why he would do that when he’s a Christian and Christ came to atone for our sins and free our souls from affliction and is the Feast of Trumpets and Tabernacles who said, “Eat of My Flesh and drink of My Blood” in covenant with Him who was the Son of God who was sacrificed for our sins, once and for all, and blew His Trumpet of Truth and Word as the Lamb of God for ALL the world to hear and see, and said,“confess your sins one to another and repent and the Spirit of the LORD is upon Me to proclaim the acceptable Year of the LORD.”Mr. Robertson is going back to Judaism instead of bringing Jews forward into Christ, who said to the Jews,“The Kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.”Therefore, he is going backwards in the Word of God instead of forward in Christ who is to be our life, as His Father the LORD God was His; and is our Truth, Way and Word of God in the flesh.
Then our president said today, “This sacred day marks the start of a 10-day period of both celebration and reflection. Throughout the High Holy Days, those in the Jewish community engage in prayer and repentance, which culminate in the holiest day of the year in Judaism, Yom Kippur. Each day, with the blowing of the shofar, the Jewish people embark on a new spiritual journey to grow closer to Hashem and find a renewed sense of purpose in their faith.” Hashem means “the Name”, but Jesus said that His Father’s name is LORD, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Therefore no one can “grow closer” to God but through Christ Jesus our Lord who is the Son of God with us entering into holy covenant with Him. And our sense of purpose is just as Jesus said to His Father the LORD God,
“Glorify Your Son, and that He should have eternal life to as many as You have given Him, and that they may know You, the only True God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
Mr. Trump continued to say, “As men, women, and children around the world partake in traditional liturgy and enjoy customary meals with loved ones, we are all reminded of the virtues we can incorporate into our lives to better us as a Nation—kindness, compassion, and love. Together, with devotion to these ideals, we can form more sincere bonds with people of all faiths to help spread peace and prosperity in the United States and abroad.” But the PRESIDENT of presidents, or KING of kings said,
“Do not think that I came to bring peace on Earth. For I did not come to bring peace but a Sword. All authority has been given to Me in Heaven and on Earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, submersing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you with My Spirit of Truth and Life in you. And when you give a feast, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives or yourrich neighbors, lest they also invite you back and you be repaid; but when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame and the blind. For they cannot repay you. And this is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent. When the Son of Man returns, will He even find faith on the Earth? I AM the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
Mr. Trump also said, “Melania and I pray that those celebrating Rosh Hashanah build a more meaningful relationship with God throughout the High Holy Days.” But Jesus said,
“Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The Stone which the builders rejected has become the Chief Cornerstone?’(“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”“And on this Rock, I will build My following”). And this was the LORD’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.’ Whoever falls on this Stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”
The Holy Spirit says there should be no such thing as Rosh Hashanah anymore, for there is only Christ. And in Christ “there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male or female” but ONLY CHRIST who is LORD of the Sabbath and the Feast, which is every day in which we fast and pray and deny ourselves but feast on His flesh and drink His Blood and proclaim His Truth and Word and shout His name through the horn of the Lamb of God and rest in Him who is the Prince of Peace to all those who believe in Him and call upon His name and receive Him as Lord and the Son of God in the flesh in the name of His Father the LORD God, and follow and obey Him in all things in which there is no sin. Praise God and hallelujah!
