Violent rioters and looters not arrested while churches fined for services with more than 50 people: posted on OCL FB page June 3, 2020
After the violent Madison, WI protests last Saturday night against the police because of George Floyd’s needless death, and looters looking to capitalize on the outrage, my husband came home from running errands and said he heard that police were not arresting looters in Madison but churches were being fined for opening doors for service; which didn’t seem to make sense. The Blaze said, “At least 75 stores were damaged or looted overnight.” And, “Despite the bedlam and property damage, the Madison Police Dept only made three arrests.” Milwaukee Journal Sentinel politics and statehouse reporter Patrick Marley tweeted, "Police chief says they aren't arresting people tonight." “Interim Madison Police Chief Vic Wahl said his officers stood back during the protests.” And also wrote, “While Madison didn't do much to prevent the barrage of looting in the city, officials want citizens to know that church services of more than 50 people will absolutely not be tolerated.” “According to the city of Madison's website, "Mass Gathering inside a commercial facility is permitted with fifty (50) individuals or less.” “Individuals must maintain physical distancing." Because of the COVID-19 virus; and rightfully so to protect and save lives. The Blaze also reported, “WI priests were reportedly warned by health officials from Madison and Dane counties that if they opened their churches and had crowds of more than 50 people at their religious services, they face a fine of $1,000.” Because the state and city officials are working to protect and save lives during this highly contagious plague and pandemic which is not condemned by the Lord God but commended. For this is what He came to do likewise in Jesus’s name, therefore we who believe in Him and fear God and love Him with ALL our hearts, minds and souls, and life which is who God is, should follow and obey and honor those working to protect our life and looking out for our souls and not further overload our hospitals, doctors and nurses then they already were. The Blaze also said, “However, hundreds of people protesting and rioting will not warrant any fine whatsoever in Madison.” And, “It doesn't appear that people are practicing social distancing in Madison.”

But the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel wrote saying, “About an hour before two squad cars were destroyed and one engulfed in flames, Madison Police Chief Victor Wahl said arrests were not planned Saturday night BECAUSE POLICE WERE OUTNUMBERED and DID NOT WANT TO ESCALATE TENSIONS.” I heard another officer say this recently in another city, which makes sense for they would only further be retaliated against then they already were and didn’t have enough manpower to do anything about it. The Sentinel further wrote, “Later, Gov. Tony Evers activated the National Guard at the request of Dane County.” “And hours later the mayor declared a state of emergency and imposed a midnight curfew, but many did not adhere to it.” “A group of protesters smashed up an empty police car and lit it on fire. One person climbed into the flaming squad car and rolled it down the street for a block before bailing out of it. It stayed near a liquor store, exploding as it burned. A line of state troopers stood nearby but did not intervene. About half an hour later firefighters put out the flames and officers arrived on the scene.” And, “Many of the protesters and bystanders watching the night's spectacles wore masks to protect themselves from the coronavirus pandemic that has spread around the world. But they often clustered together despite warnings from health experts that people should stay at least six feet away from others.” “The State Patrol assisted the Madison police and a second wave of help from the Patrol was sent later in the night…Other jurisdictions were also expected to help.” And the true church of Jesus Christ should be the first one to lay down her life for the sake of health and life for others during this worldwide plague and pandemic without fighting for her rights to open her doors according to another woman’s (America) Constitution and freedoms and Bill of Rights when she, the church of Jesus Christ belongs to Him as Lord and God in Heaven on Earth in obedience and love and is not of this world in sin and darkness and rebellion with a defiant spirit against authorities’ orders for the sake of health and life. Therefore, there would be no fines issued to any of Jesus’s churches who love, honor, respect and obey governing officials working to protect and save lives; for this is the business of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as Lord and God with His Father the LORD God in His churches that belong to Him as Lord and God and not her.
