The HAARETZ (middle east news) reports what Ramadan means to Muslims: “The fast is intended to bring the faithful closer to God and to remind them of the suffering of those less fortunate. Muslims often donate to charities during the month and feed the hungry. Fasting is an exercise in self-restraint. It's seen as a way to physically and spiritually detoxify by kicking impulses like morning coffee, smoking and midday snacking.” https://www.haaretz.com/middle-east-news/MAGAZINE-when-is-ramadan-2020-1.5372863 But I’ve heard from the middle east that Muslims don’t give charity to poor Christians, saying their Quran forbids them to help Christians, nor do they give Christians better paying jobs, but help fellow Muslims and Christians who convert to Islam, while poor Christians who believe Jesus Christ is Lord and God in the flesh sent from His Father the LORD God, who is the One and only true God in Jesus’s name, are worried about starving to death during this COVID-19 pandemic while people are on lockdown and can’t work. And I’ve seen images of Muslims giving charity and taking pictures to show the world their charitable works.
