PALM SUNDAY – April 2020
During God’s pandemic plagues upon Egypt, “He
(Egyptians)
who feared the Word of the LORD
among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his livestock flee to their houses. But he who did not regard the Word of the LORD
left his servants and his livestock in the field.” “And Moses stretched out his rod…and the
LORD
GOD rained hail on the land of Egypt, so there was hail and fire mingled with the hail so heavy that there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.” “And the hail struck throughout the whole land of Egypt; all that was in the field, both man and beast.” And the LORD
God said to His children, “…every man shall take for himself a male lamb without blemish…and they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel OF THEIR HOUSES…” “It is the
LORD’s Passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: FOR I AM the LORD. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood
(on your houses with you inside), I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.”
Much like the plague and sickness and death and economic disaster is striking us now like we’ve never seen before since America became a great and mighty nation.
And the LORD
God said to His people,
“YOU SHALL NOT TEMPT THE LORD
YOUR GOD…” “AND YOU SHALL DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND GOOD IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD, THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU…”
And His Son Jesus as Lord and God said to Satan (spirit of creation as god),
“It has been said, ‘YOU SHALL NOT TEMPT THE LORD
YOUR GOD!’
For Satan brought Him to Jerusalem (or the Holy city) and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple (synagogue/church) and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, THROW YOURSELF DOWN FROM HERE. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you,’ and, ‘in their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ”
But when we do that which is of ourselves as lord and god in the temple and this world, then we will fall with the world. And if “Christians” think God will protect and save them from this plague while going out in defiance and foolishness against His warnings with Wisdom for the sake of life, and believe we are invincible and mix and mingle with others when ordered to stay home to avoid this plague and live, and we can pray and worship the Lord at home who is searching our hearts and testing our minds in obedience to Him and His Wisdom, but instead risk exposure to this plague while God’s judgment pours out and is also working to humble a very “invincible” prideful arrogant dominant leader to his knees and bring all his works to ruins, just like He did Pharaoh, and could be brought down by none other than God, and we who believe and follow and obey God in Jesus’s name test and tempt the LORD
God with our health and lives during His great and mighty work, then there will be even more suffering among the sons of God in Jesus’s name that should only be for the sons of men in their own name as lord and their own god, or in the name of their leader as lord and god. And Jesus is to be our life, every day; living according to His Truth and Word as our Pastor and Priest, Governor, King and Lord; and not our own will in defiance, or holidays or holy days in religion, for this is not of Christ.
Jesus said,
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents
(Satan and his lying, evil, wicked angels in men);
and if they drink anything deadly
(venomous/poisonous words),
it will by no means hurt them; and they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.”
Jesus said to the Scribes and Pharisees,
“Brood of vipers!” “Serpents!”
“My adversaries are all before You. Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. I looked for someone to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
THEY ALSO GAVE ME GALL FOR MY FOOD, AND FOR MY THIRST THEY GAVE ME VINEGAR TO DRINK.”
But this “plague” isn’t about healing the sick, for the LORD
God told His children to go to their houses and stay indoors covered in the blood of the lamb during the death plague that swept through Egypt. And they didn’t come out until it was over. We are to follow and obey the Word of God for the sake of life and our wellness in Christ and His glory on Earth as He lives in Heaven with His Father the LORD
God. Praise God and hallelujah! And amen.
