The Lord Jesus Christ has me write as He and I heard Chicago Mayor Lightfoot (God help her during these difficult times) say last night during the black and brown protestors against police after George Floyd’s death, “we support and uplift what’s right and we strongly condemn what’s wrong”, and rightfully so in the midst of such violence, vandalism and looting and wrongful deaths. But she also said near the end of her speech and plea to Chicagoans that we need “to remember and cherish our great strength; that is of course, our diversity…140+ languages spoken but we all speak in unison.” “We have from different backgrounds.” “WE WORSHIP DIFFERENT GODS, but we are all united as Chicagoans.” And, “We cannot fail. We will not fail. We will not be distracted by those who are not pure of heart and mind. They are not us. And we are not them. We will and we must be united around a singular vision that we rise and fall together.” And, “If there is to be an uprising, let it be for peace.” And, “I call on all people of good will; young, old, black, brown, white, Asian, from all faith traditions to rise up with me for peace.” “Stand for peace.” Then she gave thanks and said “God bless you” and “God bless this great city of Chicago.” After saying we worship different gods and not speaking the name of God she asked to bless Chicagoans and their city. But the ONE and ONLY true God of Heaven and Earth and Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Israel, king David and God’s prophets in the name of the LORD and Jesus Christ His Son said to His elect through His prophet Isaiah, “Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I AM the First and I AM the Last. Besides Me there is no God. And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me, since I appointed the ancient people.” “You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed, there is no other Rock; I know not one.” “I AM the LORD, and there is no other.” “There is no God besides Me.” I will gird you, though you have not known Me, that they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me. I AM the LORD, and there is no other.” And Jesus Christ as Lord and God born from His Father the LORD God of Heaven and Earth prayed to His Father saying, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that THEY ALL MAY BE ONE, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that THEY ALSO MAY BE ONE IN US, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that THEY MAY BE ONE JUST AS WE ARE ONE: I IN THEM, and YOU IN ME; THAT THEY MAY BE MADE PERFECT IN ONE, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” And in Christ, there is no diversity for there is only ONE with the same language of Truth and God’s Word in Truth who also said, “Do not think that I came to bring peace on Earth. I did not come to bring peace but a Sword.” Which is the Sword of the Spirit of Truth, or the Word of God in Truth, in Jesus’s name who said, “But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me.” With the Sword of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth in Jesus’s name with the cutting and piercing Power of the Word of God in His Truth, and also said, “Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” For we who believe and are in Christ are to “STAND therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR WAIST WITH TRUTH, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace…taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, and take the helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God…” And the Holy Spirit of Truth in Jesus’s name said through His apostle Paul, “For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ; there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free” (nor black or brown or white or Asian or young or old as Mayor Lightfoot said) and “there is neither male nor female; for YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS.” And king David said, “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the House of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing, to declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” And the only way we can all have peace on Earth is when we believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God in the flesh born of a virgin without sin and spoke His Father’s Truth and Word in Truth and was beaten and crucified because of it and saved us from our sins in darkness and loved us and asked His Father to forgive us and died and was buried and rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven to sit on the Throne of Heaven and Earth with His Father the LORD God and comes back to us in Spirit in His name and every knee bows to Him as our Lord and God in our flesh with His Father the LORD God and give Him our life and take on His and then we can all be one for the glory of God and cannot fail, and then we will have a pure heart and a pure mind, for we will have the Heart and Mind of Christ. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2MBi1tYrvQ
